The perfect little guide you need to use your Berger Lamp (or to make you want to adopt one!) is right here!
Step 1: Fill the Lamp
Remove the snuffer cap, the diffusion cap, and the burner stone with its wick.
Using a funnel (often included), fill the reservoir with Maison Berger fragrance up to a maximum of 2/3 full. Never fill it to the brim.
Gently place the wick with the burner back into the lamp.
Let the wick soak for 20 to 30 minutes before the first use.
Step 2: Light the Lamp
Light the catalytic stone with a lighter or a match.
Let the flame burn for 2 minutes — it should remain stable, not too small and not too high (you will also see the stone turn white).
After 2 minutes, gently blow out the flame. Diffusion begins at this moment, thanks to the heat of the stone.
Step 3: Let it Diffuse
Allow the lamp to diffuse for a maximum of 20 to 30 minutes for an average-sized room (20–30 m²).
The Berger Lamp deodorizes, purifies, and perfumes the air in just a few minutes.
Step 4: Extinguish the Lamp Properly
Place the metal snuffer cap over the still-hot stone.
This cuts off the oxygen supply and stops the catalytic reaction.
TIPS 💡
↳ Use neutral fragrance regularly to clean the wick & lamp, tone down overly strong scents, or simply purify the air without adding fragrance.
↳ Keep a dedicated wick for intense fragrances if you use them often, and avoid mixing scents directly.
↳ Do not diffuse for too long — opt for short, regular sessions. Overuse = excessive scent, possible headache, and wasted liquid!
↳ Replace the burner approximately every 200 uses or every 12 months, depending on frequency.
By following these simple steps & applying a few smart tips, you’ll extend the life of your lamp and fully enjoy its benefits. 😇
