A very special gift guide, just like them.
September 8: Grandparents' Day (and the perfect opportunity to treat them to team-approved treats!)
By: Sylvia Tessier
If it were up to us, it's obviously not just one day that we'd devote to acknowledging the involvement & love that all the “grannies” & “grandpas” of this world abundantly provide.
Their invaluable advice, memories, tips, help & patience are the ultimate gift for a parent, but although our gratitude is sometimes enough to thank them, there's no harm in surprising them with a delicate thought. Especially if it's delivered by toddlers! 😍
We asked several of our fellow grandparents what might be just the thing to make them smile & here are some thoughtful answers....
Our “happiness” boxes are also very popular. Once a day, we discover a new quote to meditate on. A bit like medicine, but good for the soul! 💊🩷
What could be more appropriate than this mug with its touching message? (We've got some for Grandpa too, of course!) The beautiful realization she'll have every morning, sipping the best life has to offer. 🍵🧓🏼
Share memories with them... Slip in a pretty picture that recalls a family trip or the last Christmas party, for example. Nostalgia is a proven therapy for the heart. A photo of the grandparents with the kids will make them shed a tear of joy, there's no doubt about it! 📸
This cushion indicating the rules at grandma & grandpa's is unanimous: it practically tells the truth! 🤪 A neutral & versatile decorative element that reminds everyone who reads it of the beauty of their role!
This wine-stopper box will be as useful as it is comical - humor is often the key to a successful present. After all, there's got to be some upside to retirement, right?
Whatever you choose to do to show your gratitude, do it with tenderness & sincerity. 💫
