Daring & vibrant in-store merchandising!
The big visual change in our 14 Quebec deco branches: a creative & bold new era! 🤩
By: Sylvia Tessier
With the spring thaw often comes renewal & a compelling desire for transformation. Our stores have not been spared (!!) To better understand the source of this metamorphosis, we talk to Lyne, our Visual Presentation Director.
What was the thinking behind this visual overhaul?
For us, every great idea starts with a favorite. It could be an object discovered on a trip, an ambiance felt in a restaurant or even a supplier's offer that triggers a real creative spark. This is how our new visual layout for spring-summer was born. The process is simple: an inspiration is found, often in a product, a shade or a trend & from there, complementary products are developed to create an innovative concept.
What were the objectives of the new layout?
The aim of this visual overhaul was to build consistency with current trends while highlighting our own imports. For this collection, the aim was to inject a fresh energy, a bold explosion of color that resonates with both the dynamic needs of individuals & society itself. We wanted to bring a dapper touch to each space to breathe new life into the decor.
Who was involved in the design & implementation of this project?
This transformation was led by our purchasing team, as well as Marc, our creative director - the brains behind our exclusive novelties. Of course, everyone at head office also contributed, bringing their perspective & expertise, especially when they see the samples go by. But the magic really happens in-store, thanks to our visual team, who support every idea & turn concepts into impressive realities.
What were the steps involved & how was the process approached?
The steps involved were truly collaborative. The people in charge of visual presentation & I started with our flagship boutique in Terrebonne, where we put up walls, laid out tables & made continual adjustments until everything was in perfect harmony. The creative process was fluid, nourishing & filled with moments of constant refinement.
What changes can customers expect & what improvements have you seen since implementing this redesign?
We're living in a post-pandemic context where suppliers are offering a reduced variety & quantity of products, making local development even more important. In 2025, we've decided to take risks, think outside the box & provoke a wind of change. The frenzy we're feeling from our customers shows that we've hit the nail on the head.
Thank you Lyne for sharing!
The new colors, energy & authenticity are there - we can't wait to see your reactions! 🤗
